Tim Knapp
Founder and owner of KnappShack Media™, Tim Knapp has been working with video and film for over 25 years. His experience encompasses celluloid film editing and magnetic tape-based deck editing throughout the 1980's and early 90's. Tim transitioned to Non-Linear Editing, or NLE/Digital Editing, in the mid-90's and never looked back ... working with some of the earliest titling/gen-lock systems and edit suites available. He has been editing video and mixing audio digitally for over 15 years.

Tim is also an accomplished animator, specializing in 3D CGI Animation, as well as an expert Motion-Graphics designer. He has been working with both Animation and Motion-Graphics for over 15+ years.
He has created and worked on commercials, shorts, and featurettes in this field over those years.

Tim mostly uses the superior line of real-time Canopus Hardware and Software for all his editing projects. However, he is versatile enough to work with any NLE, including Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas, AVID, and Final Cut Pro.

After Effects is the primary tool Tim uses for Motion-Graphics and Post-Production effects, including visual effects, color correction, titling/logo treatments, etc. He is rated in top 1% of After Effects users on Elance via certified testing, as well as general computer skills.
